Roshi's Ramblings

Documenting things I document

It's that time again! It's a few weeks into the 2nd quarter of 2014 and I've compiled the stats for Bodhi contributions for Q1. While I forgot to do quarter 4 from last year - F20 was just released and it slipped my mind - I did remember to do it this time!

The list below is slightly trimmed (at a minimum of 5 update comments) - but we had a great showing for the first quarter directly after release. Going forward into Fedora.next, I expect quarterly statistics to stay largely the same - but I don't know what the milestone (Alpha, Beta, Final) release statistics will look like going forward.

Well, without further ado - onto the statistics!

Test period: Quarter 1 2014 (2014-01-01 through 2014-03-31)

Conclusion

Despite the fact that it's not quite an apples-to-apples comparison, this quarter we had only 5 less testers compared to Q3 of 2013. So we've been able to maintain participation over the past 6 months which is awesome. Reindl Harald (hreindl) came in first this time around with 318 updates commented on. He was followed by nonamedotc and Christopher Meng (cicku) each with over 250 comments.

Thanks to everyone who contributed this quarter! If you want to get started contributing to Fedora, updates testing is a great way to get started. Drop by the #fedora-qa channel on IRC if you have any questions, we'd love to help you get started. And, as always - information on contributing to Fedora can be found on our wiki.
